As soon as your subscription starts, you’ll get an e-mail with a QR code to activate your eSIM.
Please make sure your smartphone is connected to the Internet (Wi-Fi or mobile network). An active Internet connection is required to download the eSIM profile onto your smartphone. Open the e-mail on a second device and display the QR code. Then, scan the QR code with your smartphone.
Apple iPhone
- Go to Settings and select «Mobile Data».
- Select «Add Data Plan».
- Scan the QR code you received in an e-mail or in your Cockpit.
- Select «Add Data Plan» again.
- Tap «OK» on the uncertified data plan message.
Samsung
- Go to Settings and select «Connection».
- Tap «SIM card manager».
- Select «Add mobile plan».
- Your smartphone will automatically search for an active data plan.
- Scroll down to «Other ways to add plans» and select «Add using QR code».
- Scan the QR code you received in an e-mail or in your Cockpit.
- What until the digitec connect mobile plan is detected, then tap «Add».
- Once the plan is registered, select «OK» to activate it.
- You can now view the eSIM in «SIM card manager».
Huawei
- In Settings, go to «Mobile networks».
- Go to «SIM management».
- Select «Add eSIM».
- Your smartphone will automatically search for an active data plan.
- Scan the QR code you received in an e-mail or in your Cockpit.
- Your device will download and install the configuration file. The eSIM will be enabled by default.
- You can now view the eSIM in «SIM management».
Google Pixel
- In Settings, go to «Network & internet».
- Tap the + sign next to «Mobile network».
- Tap «Download a SIM instead?». Select «Yes» to confirm.
- The following prompt should appear: «Scan QR code».
- Scan the QR code you received in an e-mail or in your Cockpit.
- You should see a message confirming that the digitec connect data plan has been detected.
- Enter the ePIN you received in the e-mail with the QR code.
- Your eSIM profile will now be downloaded.
